A Chisa katana, Japan, dated 1574. Blade shinogizukuri, chu-kissaki, flat torii-zori. Hada and hamon (suguha?) not recognisable, three small kizu. Cutting edge with small chippings, pitted one one side near the kissaki. Nakago ubu, one mekugi-ana, kiri yasurime. Signed "Bishu Osafune Ju Harumitsu Saku, Tensho Ni Nen Hachi Gatsu Hi" (August 1574). Copper habaki, iron tsuba in positive sukashi, shidori over pines and boats, signed "Masayoshi".
