On the territory of Laos runs Asia's largest river, the Mekong. Other rivers are also rich in fish, so fishing is one of the traditional occupations. The fish are caught fantasies, with fixed and movable fences, to put on shallow hit harpoons. Fish, like rice, one of the main types of food. There is a holiday fishing (10-th month of the lunar calendar).
