Reflection nebula NGC 7023, in the constellation of Cepheus. A hot blue star is illuminating a small part of a dust cloud which can be seen in silhouette against the background of more distant stars. This photograph was taken by Peter Shah through a 200 mm telescope from Meifod, Powys, UK, using a CCD imager through separate filters.
