Bittinger, a native of Longwood, Florida, graduates from Marine Corps recruit training as the honor graduate for Platoon 4004, Papa Company, 4th Recruit Training Battalion, at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina, Feb. 25, 2022. Bittinger earned this distinction over 13 weeks of training by outperforming other recruits during a series of training events designed to test their basic Marine Corps skills.
