A new miniature variety of the While Calla, from the Channel Islands, growing from 9 inches to one foot in height; it is very free-flowering and fine for pot culture. The flowers are less than one-half the size of the common variety and can be used to good advantage in bouquets, etc. Has been awarded several certificates of merit. 15 cts. each, $ per doz. Black Calla. Black Calla {Arum Sanctum). This interesting variety from the Holy Land resembles in habit and foliage the White Calla, with flowers of a rich purple color over a foot in length and 4 to 6 inches across; the spike or spadix is about 10 inches long, and of an ebony-black color. (See cut.) 15 cts. each, § per doz. The leaves of this variety are deep green, with numerous white spots, The flowers are pure white, with a black centre; they grow freely Little Gem Calla. Yellow Calla (Richardia hastata). Similar in every way to the while flowering variety, excepting the flowers, which are of pure yellow with black centre. This has always been a scarce plant. The roots we offer are exceptionally strong and should flower with little or no trouble. 75 cts. each, $ per doz.
