A decorative Etruscan shield, circa 500 Bronze. The separately made central medallion displays a ram's head in high relief with remnants of white eye inlays (colour paint?), surrounded by an ornamental ring bearing a tongue pattern, and a broad, strongly rounded protuding rim. Diameter cm. Broken into small pieces, glued together and stabilised with fiberglass. Restorations at various places. Axel Guttmann Collection (R 203/AG 195).
