The lines andequipment of the system are built standard in every particularand it is the aim of the management to keep it at a highstate of efficiency by the employment of the best availableskilled labor. Manitoba, with a population of 613,008 people has 68,000telephones in use and of these, 64,752 are direct suibscribers.
