FIFTH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (April 8, 2017) A MK 45 5-inch gun fires during a live-fire exercise aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Hué City (CG 66). Hué City is in the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations designed to reassure allies and partners, and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
