The Community Nest Spider is easily seen in the branches of trees and shrubs despite the spiders small size. They live in large untidy nests of many ctach webs and sheets of cribellate silk which has a retreat tunnel in the centre. Prey much larger than the individual is dealt with by parties that kill the prey and drag to the tunnel to be consumed.
