Martha and the Vandellas Paisley Scotland set 2
A fantastic time was had by all when Martha Reeves and the Vandellas took to the Paisley town hall along with supporting act the London African Gospel, Choir on Saturday October 20th 2018. With a full house of screaming fans turning out to see this legendary act, they weren’t disappointed and neither were they silent as they sang along to very song. Half way into the show Martha brought the Gospel Choir back onto stage to introduce the singersbefore performing one track. Then later she called up members of the audience to the stage were they too danced along with Martha and her sisters in what will be a lone in a lifetime memory lasting experience. For a performer who started her career in the late 50s, she put the best of them too shame and even ran over her allotted stage time, only to further take time out to sign photos along with her supporting singers, Sandra Lois Reeves Jacksona and Delphine Reeves at the front of the town hall entrance. Here’s where I have to give their manager Bryan Dundee Holt, a huge thanks for kindly allowing me to shoot himself along with the sisters on the town hall stairs before the fans pilled in, ending what was a great night at the Paisley town hall organised by “The Spree Paisley” who should be patting themselves on their backs for this Well played
