Thelocality has many natural curiosities, such as the Hanging Rocks, SpoutingCave and the Glen. But to ^ the tourist, Newport is recom-mended for a days excursion,as the hotel accommodationsare quite inadequate. Narragansett Pier is only alittle less famous than New-port. It is celebrated for itsgreat hotels, its superb bathingbeach, its splendid summerresidences and the variedassortment of delightful *^^*i^^i
