Provence, France. 19th September 2013. Inaugural Run for Giant 352-Wheel Truck-Trailer. The huge lorry-trailer, which weighs 172 tonnes and is 33 metres long, is specialy adapted to carry nuclear components for an experimental nuclear facility, known as ITER, at Cadarache Nuclear Research Centre in northern Provence. The trailer, which has 88 axels and 352 tyres, had a trial run in Provence this week loaded with concrete blocks.
