Air Raid Precautions, cigarette card, British, 1938. Heavy duty emergency fire pump unit with telescopic ladder attached. Designed by the Home Office, it could deliver in excess of 1000 gallons of water a minute. One of a set of 50 cards issued by WD & HO Wills in preparation for the anticipated coming of World War II.
