My dad was in the Army, I have numerous uncles in the military too and I just wanted to serve my country and do something more,” said Booth. “Right now I'm billeted as an ATL, assistant team leader, so I assist the team leader with planning our ops. I help them, I cover accountability of all EDL [(Equipment Density List)], all equipment, and while we patrol I'm at the back of the patrol.” The exercise serves as an opportunity for stronger naval integration between Marines and sailors by providing them with a better understanding of boarding and amphibious shipping.
