During Operation Saline II in Vietnam on October 27, 1968, a squad from Hotel Company, Second Battalion, Ninth Marines can be seen escorting a section from Third Engineers. Their mission was to destroy a North Vietnamese road to impede enemy movements. This photograph was taken by SSgt. Lowe during the Scotland II/Afton Operations.
