A traditional Kerala dish called, ' Kerala Avial.’The dish has many variations. Lunch prepared for one person onboard a houseboat known locally as the Kettuvallam, in the backwaters of the State of Kerala in India, There were seven dishes prepared and cooked by the onboard chef, consisting of diced beef, long beans, Samba, Karimeen (a Kerala Pearl spot fish) which is a speciality, cooked in coconut oil, mixed rice with fruits & chopped coconut, finely shredded cabbage and boiled rice.
