A raw old photograph of Talbot Hotel Yard, Whitby , North Yorkshire, UK, looking towards Baxtergate. It was accessed via a set of steps (right of photo) through a short tunnel under the hotel seen at the rear. Mrs F E 'Cissie' Waters was the cottage's (Talbot Cottage) last resident. The substantial hotel was later developed into retail premises and Talbot Yard and its only cottage were dismantled.
