Proboscis well developed ; palpi upturned, hardly reaching vertex of head; antenn£e bipeetinate, with moderate branches; tibijB with the spurs moderate. Fore wing with the angle of cell produced upwards, the discocellulars short; veins 2, 3, 4 at long intervals before angle ; 6 from below upper angle; 7, 8, 9 stalked; 10, 11 from cell. Hind wing with veins 2,3,4 at long intervals; 5 from angle; the discocellulars short; veins 6, 7 stalked almost to apex. 841. Ecdemus hypoleucus. Ecdemus htjpoleucus, Aussereur.
