Dead bull removed from bullring in Mexico City


After almost two years closed Mexico City’s Plaza Mexico, the world's biggest bull-ring arena, opened again for bullfights in January The arena was packed to capacity. The reopening occurred after a judge overruled an earlier judicial decision to ban bullfights in Mexico City. On the day of reopening six innocent animals were killed in the name of sport, decried animal-rights activists. The bullfighting season is normally set to run till March, but another judge has once again placed an embargo on bullfights in the capital.
