Another daughter of Charles A., namedMargaret, who married her first cousin, David Hooks,and they lived for many years and died at Livingston,Ala. They had several children, one of whom v/as E. , whom I knew very well, and it was my pleasureto know his mother, who was a loyely old lady. An-other daughter of Charles A., named Laura, who nevermarried. Still another daughter whose name I do notremember married Sam Shivers. Charles Williams Hooks first settled in SumterCounty and moved to Mobile about the year i860 whenhe was engaged in the drug business for many widow now resides in Mob
