Brooldyn had one colony which was considered dangerous, 47egg-clusters being found on an oak tree in an open pasture owned REPORT OF GIPSY MOTH WORK. 255 by Patrick Moran near the junction of the State road and theAllen Hill road. In Eastford two large colonies were found, both woodlandinfestations, one of 191 egg-clusters just south of Crystal Lakeon land owned by Andrew Chilkott, and the other on land ownedby Mr. Floating about two miles west of Eastford Post Offreportofstateent256conn
