If you are called out to make an interior and have no non-halation plates—why! just take your ordinary plates—doublethe exposure, modify your developer by increasing the sul-phite, for the pyro will require it on account of the long de-velopment, and by cutting down the carbonate to almost noth-ing. Exercise patience. You will not care whether you havenon-halation plates or not, for you can successfully correcthalation in the NATHAN R. GRAVES. 94
