Aberystwyth, Wales, UK. 16th July, 2014. A 38 year old man was trapped as he felled trees on a small wooded hill in Clarach, Aberystwyth today. The tree landed on the man pinning him to the ground for around 5 minutes until colleagues could release him. Fire rescue crews attended with an ambulance, Paramedics and the Air Ambulance. The man was carefully carried aboard the ambulance by the fire crew where his injuries were assessed prior to him being taken by road to Bronglais hospital. Credit: Jon Freeman/Alamy Live News
