Cars makedirect connection at the Public Square with the Cleveland,Painesville & Eastern cars for Cleveland. The latter companyoperates local cars in Painesville, and the two roads exchangetransfers on the local service. This was required by franchise,and it gives Painesville excellent local service. In entering Ashtabula the company operates for il/2 miles.
