He was born December 9, 1873. and has been arespected resident of Berkeley County, West Virginia,ever since. A short distance from West Cumbo. Mr. Porterfieldowns a fine farm on which he and Mrs. Porterfield maketheir home, and incidentally where Mr. Porterfield, whennot on duty, plays the part of a prosperous farmer. Perhaps there is no employe on the Division who hasmade more friends than Mr. Porterfield and who, by hisconsiderate and gentlemanly
