A visit by Queen Victoria and her husband Prince Albert to South Stack lighthouse on Anglesea, North Wales guiding vessels crossing the Irish Sea to and from the ports of Holyhead and Dun Laoghaire. It followed the monarch's third trip to Ireland in 1861 in the British royal yacht.
