A Palestinian child recites the Qur’an at the Al-Sayed Hashem Mosque during around the world celebrate the blessed month of Ramadan by praying at night, abstaining from eating, drinking and sexual practices between sunrise until sunset. Ramadan is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar and it is believed that the first Quranic verse was revealed during its last ten nights.
