STEWART, 119 N. 16th Street, Omaha, Neb. ^ Livingston's Beauty—A decided favorite for either home market or shipping- pur- poses, being- early, hardy, a strong* g-rower, productive, larg-e size, always smooth, perfect in shape and excellent in quality. The color is very g-lossy crimson with a ting-e of purple. It g-rows in clusters of four to six larg-e fruits, retaining its large size late in the season. It ripens with Acme and Perfection; and is entirely free from ribbed and elongated fruit. It is very firm fleshed, has a toug-h skin and but few seeds. Pkt. 5c, Oz. 25c, % Ivb. 60c, Ivb. $ Ponderosa—The fruit ripens quite early and keeps on coming- until very late; of ii|imense size, solid, almost seedless, and of g-ood sub acid flavor. The fruits are some- what scattered on the vine, and a larg-e percentag-e are too rough to please most g-rowers. When ripe it is apt to remain somewhat g-reen around stem end, and it seems to ripen on the inside first, and on this account should be picked when it appears to be about half ripe. Ripens evenly and as early as any other good red sort, holding its size to the end of the season; free from cracks, and is not apt to rot at the blossom end; very prolific, good flavor, few seeds, flesh solid, bears ship- ping long distances.
