Ferry Bridge linking the mainland with Portland in Dorset

Ferry Bridge was originally sited in 1839 adjacent to the then Royal Victoria Inn but, owing to its disrepair, was rebuilt in 1985 further along the Causeway. The course of the Fleet, which flows into Portland Harbour, was also changed as a consequence.
