Gaius Gracchus, BC - 121 BC, Roman politician. Tradition has it that he ordered his servant Philocrates to kill him rather than risk arrest by his political enemies. Philocrates then suicided with the same knife with which he had killed his master. After a 19th century work by Bartolomeo Pinelli.
