The Bishnumati river running through Kathmandu in Nepal. The river is full of plastic garbage and raw sewage which is emptied into the river. The local people see the river as a rubbish collection service. It symbolises all that is wrong in the way that we treat the earths resources, that ultimately we are utterly reliant on. This is a composite image with the addition of a sign that I photographed elsewhere in Nepal.
