The intellect of the Frenchman is in keeping with his dis-position and with the activity of his bodily organs, and is afurther proof of his resemblance to the frog. He jumps atconclusions, and this requires that he should have a wonder-ful degree of instinctiveness, or an intuitive perception ofthings.
