Sitting in a valley, well off the beaten track, Gorran Haven is an unspoilt coastal village at the heart of which is a cluster of fishermen’s cottages, nestling around a secluded cove which remains much the same as in years gone by. Gorran Haven is situated at the most eastern point of the Roseland Peninsula. The bay of Gorran Haven is sheltered from the prevailing west winds by Dodman Point and swimmers can enjoy two sandy beaches offering some of the safest bathing in Cornwall, making them ideal for the whole family (including dogs on leads). The area also enjoys an abundance of flora and fauna, and being on the South West coastal path it is an ideal location for walkers.
