An Arctic fox trap at Texas Bar in Liefdefjorden on northern Spitzebergen, Svalbard at 79°37’n 12°43’e. The trap was baited and loaded with heavy rocks which crushed the fox, when it tugged the bait, attached to a thin stick that held up the weighted roof. This way the fur remained intact with no shot holes.
