Young English girls taking part in the London May Queen festivals. The ceremonies follow a routine established almost a hundred years ago, but based loosely on earlier traditions. The 2007 London May Queen holds a shield saying "I am the Rose of Sharon and the Lily of the Valley." At her side stand the May Queens from the different 'realms' in the Bromley area.
