Ecuelle and tray. A tray hanging on a wall above an ecuelle. The companion pieces are both painted with landscapes and putti inside medallions with scalloped borders. The ecuelle has one handle on each side, and the lid handle is molded in the shape of a branch with (Recto, mount) upper right, printed in black ink: "PLATE CXLIX." Lower center, printed in black ink: "SEVRES. / 297. EUCELLE. DATE 1771. / South Kensington Museum. italicized"
