The Earl of Selkiiit, after his arrival inCanada, at the end of the year 1815, trans-mitted, upcMi various occasions, to his friendsin England, the details of the first aggressionswhich had been instigated against the RedRiver Settlement, and the dispersion of thesettlers in the preceding summer. He alsosubsequently furnished them with the par-ticulars and evidence which had been col-lected relative to the second destruction of thatCk>lony, in the following year.
