The ticket chiefly used is based on the 6-cent ride,five rides being- sold in a block for 30 cents. No ticketfor a single ride is sold. Each 6-cent coupon entitlesthe holder to ride through three fare zones. Thesetickets may be purchased from the conductors and atthe Monument Square waiting room (the traffic centerof the system). The zone ticket is provided for change. It hasfifteen 2-cent coupons and sells for 30 cents. It isused with the ordinary 6-cent coupon in paying faresabove 6 cents where the passenger does not regularlypay such fares; or with the 6-cent fare ticket to paya fare through an odd number of zones, such as seven,where the fare would be 14 cents.
