It is equipped witha double-sheathed body,filled with sawdust between the innerand outer skins to prevent radiation. The interior is kept cool by means ofa conventional ice-box placed directlyunder the roof at the front end, whichis large enough to hold three hundredpounds of ice. The box is zinc-lined andis surrouniled on all sides by a layer ofcharcoal. It is drained by means of apipe extending down through the doublefloor to within a foot of the beneath the ice-box are three. At last we have a refrigerator on wheel-ing dairy products shelves crosswise of the body for carryingbutter, bottled milk, pot-cheese, cans of milk are carried atthe rear. The large cans of milk or .the goodscarried on the shelves can be removedeasily and quickly without opening therear doors, this being accomplishedthrough the two side doors, one oneither side, shown directly behind theshelves. The doors are zinc-lined andwhen shut are air-tight.—J.
