Mersey Gateway Construction Project, forming the final part of the South approach joining the link road to the North Pylon. The bridge is being constructed by pouring concrete into a travelling mould similar to 3D printing. While North and South approach roads are being constructed, three pylons were being constructed in the river. Road decks were formed on each side of pylons by pouring concrete into a travelling mould ( a former) This image shows the process of bridging the gap using travelling former 'Webster'.
