Head and thorax brown mixed with some grey ; palpi whitish at base, fuscous at tips; pectus whitish; tarsi brown ringed with white ; abdomen ochreous brown, the ventral surface whitish. Fore wing brown mixed with whitish, some Ayhite on postmedial area. ^^^-"â ^"^^ Fig. Metatacha excavata, cj". \. in discal fold and between veins 3 and 2 ; subbasal line slight, blackish, angled inwards to near base at median nervure and with brown marks beyond it at costa and below the cell; antemedial line black, rather diffused, oblique, minutely waved, with dark brown suffusion before it from costa to vein 1; orbicular represented by a dark point, the reniform by an ill-defined dark lunule with point below it and two dark striae above it from costa; medial line arising from a small black spot on costa well beyond the cell, minutely waved and inwardly oblique from costa to below vein 2, then outwardly oblique and sinuous, another indistinct minutely waved line beyond it from vein 5 to inner margin; postmedial line arising from the same point as the medial line, strongly bent outwards.
