Technicians denucleate oocytes (remove the DNA from horse egg cells harvested from a slaughterhouse), reconstruct the resulting cytoblasts by inserting horse tissue cells into the egg cells; and fuse the new embryos by applying an electric pulse to momentarliy disintegrate the cell membranes. Here, the tiny needles on the microscope stage perform the reconstruction. This is tissue from a horse being cloned.
