(Jan. 20, 2023) Seaman Recruit Jose Reyna is sprayed with oleoresin capsicum (OC) spray during USS Fort Lauderdale's (LPD 28) security reaction force basic (SRF-B) training at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. SRF-B is a two-week long, comprehensive course that provides baseline knowledge for Sailors to perform the role of sentry.
