Sunny morning near the Castle Weldam. Weldam, situated in the beautiful wooded area of South West Twente in the municipality of Hof van Twente is one of the larger estates of eastern Netherlands. The ancient estate with castle and gardens as the center, consists of woods, fields, meadows, streams and characteristic lanes, historic houses and farms. The shutters, painted in the colors black and yellow, one can recognize that it has to do with a building of the estate. The gardens are open to the public. The castle is not open to visitors.
