Sv Lenart where a beautiful tall church greets you as round the corner This tiny hamlet wedged into the hills was a refuge for the people of Kostrivnica in the 15th century when the Turks invaded The people escaped to here via the river leaving visible no trail The Turks never knew of this place and so the place was left untouched Local legend says that a church was built here in 1000AD but a massive earthquake hit the region destroying all the building and causing the church to sink into the ground It was hidden by vegetation for hundreds of years until one day while some animals were grazing and chewing on the grass the bell rang and the church was rediscovered
