Wash-ington street, Chicago, are marketing the Be-noit Adjustable Handlebar. They claim itmeets every requirement of the rider; that is,it can be adjusted to a variety of positions, and at the same time is strong, firm, and ofneat appearance. The accompanying cut gives some idea as tothe many positions to which the bar can beadjusted. These adjustments are obtained by asmall dog in the end of each bar, where it fitsinto the head socket or clamp, which whenpushed in allows the bar to be turned, but as. it reaches the next notch or hole in the clampimmediately snaps into place and holds thebar perfectly rigid. A bolt is provided which, when tightened, adds additional strength tothe clamp and prevents any part from work-in gloose. The tubing used is %-inch 18-guageand of best quality, all parts being heavilynickeled. The Benoit bar is also made in wood; theonly difference from the steel bar is that thedog is not used.
