ASAN, Guam (May 14, 2021) - Rear Adm. John Menoni, commander, Joint Region Marianas, recognizes the efforts of Soldiers from the 25th Infantry Division (ID) for their support of COVID-19 vaccination efforts on Guam. The medical team, which consists of a medical officer and 11 combat medic specialists stationed at Army Garrison Hawaii, partnered with Guam’s Department of Public Health and Social Services and Guam National Guard medical providers as a part of a scheduled 30-day mission assignment. The medical team, which consists of a medical officer and 11 combat medic specialists stationed at Army Garrison Hawaii, partnered with Guam’s Department of Public Health and Social Services and Guam National Guard medical providers as a part of a scheduled 30-day mission assignment. Indo-Pacific Command, through Army Pacific, remains committed to providing continued, flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of the whole-of-government response to COVID-19.
