The campanile of the duomo, the Cathedral of St John the Baptist, Turin, Italy. Brick tower below, built 1468-1470 by Bishop Giovanni de Compey. topped by stone lantern with classical columns. This upper section, 1720-22, is by Filippo Juvarra. His designs included a cupola at the top, but this was not built.
