Malt Kiln from Varmland, Skansen open-air living museum, Djurgarden, Stockholm, Sweden, Scandinavia

The malt kiln is from Varmland. It was used for producing malt from germinated corn. A stove on the ground floor dried the germinated corn which was spread on shelves on the floor above. Because of the fire risk the kiln was situated at a distance from the farmhouse.
