Worms, Germany. 26th August 2017. The BojemŠŠschter vun de FischerwŠŠd (mayor of the fishermenÕs lea), Markus Trapp, holds the key to the city in the air. The largest wine and funfair along the Rhine, the Backfischfest started in Worms with the traditional handing over of power from the Lord Mayor to the mayor of the fishermenÕs lea. The ceremony was framed by dances and music.
